Summer is over, and the Schools of Bonefish are back in session all over the flats and creeks of Andros Island. And these aren’t little bones like you’ll see in Mexico, Belize and elsewhere. 3-to- 7-pound fish are everywhere from the ocean front flats, through the Bights and they’re piled up on the West Side. Eleven team members Tom, John, and (me)Stephen have just returned from setting up the final logistics (and catching a slew of bones) for Eleven Angling’s unique Andros Mothership program, opening to anglers December 1, 2017 and running through April 30, 2018. And the guide team members, led by Captains Marvin Miller and Shine Greene, are excited to start fishing with you and showing you around their back yard.
Captain Tom will be anchoring the 74’ Hatteras Mothership on the West Side at the mouth of the South Bight and Miller Creek. We’ll focus on bonefish and resident tarpon (40-to 100-pounds), but mutton snapper, jacks, permit, sharks and barracuda are on the menu. And hey, if you’re looking for a legitimate double-digit bone, those awesome creatures over ten pounds, Andros is the best place on earth to take your shot. Why travel half-way around the world when these monsters live an hour from Florida. If you want to hunt the big boys, casting to 8- to 10+ pound bones can be a daily challenge that will keep your adrenaline flowing.
This program is limited to just 4 anglers per trip (6 with an intact group), so give us a call or shoot us an email now to discuss the dates that work best for you. Call Stephen at 307-690-7472, or email. Click here to see the detailed Eleven Andros Mothership brochure with trip details, pricing, getting there and more.
