- Comfort of accommodations
- Access for non-anglers or couples
- Our own experience fishing or traveling there
For Experienced Anglers: Best of the Best
Broad Shad Cay Lodge (North Bight, Andros) This exclusive private island lodge offers sensational views of the Bight to the north and Big Wood Cay to the south. Wrap-around wooden decks and native stone work make this a casually elegant place to hang your hat, and to enjoy yourself after a fun day of fishing. Andy can only take four anglers at a time, and he runs the program himself, basing each fishing day on the tides. He has no problem running to the West Side, then back East to meet the right tide at the right time. If you want to focus on fishing for Big Bonefish, and for permit and tarpon, Andy will do everything possible to put you on those dream fish.
East End Lodge (Grand Bahama) Completely rebuilt since Hurricane Dorian in 2021, the lodge offers single and double rooms, all with large decks with views the marina, the ocean and the docks. A modest sitting area, air conditioning, full dining room and full bar can all be found in the main lodge. The guides here are from the famed Mclean's town, and many worked at Deepwater Cay Club. Same incredible fishing grounds all the way to north Abaco that anglers enjoyed for years from Deepwater Cay. The lodge provides free shuttle service from Grand Bahama International Airport, a 45-minute drive, as part of the complete fishing package.
Soul Fly Lodge (Great Harbour, Berry Islands) We love fishing out of Great Harbour, amazing uncrowded flats and creeks. Lots of bonefish, including some monsters, plus a great location to get shots at permit. This lodge, operated by Captain Kyle Schaefer and his team, is one of the best flats fishing lodges in the Bahamas. And of course they also work with Percy Darville, the Dean of Berry Island flats fishing. The lodge is a converted boutique hotel on the waterfront, and features a top restaurant with four comfy guest rooms. If you're looking for some sensational fishing, want to stay in comfort while fishing with top guides on uncrowded flats, this is a lodge you should seriously consider. Booking availability is very tight, so get in touch soon to start planning your trip.
